What makes Laura Penhaul a great human being?
In 2016 Laura rowed 9,000km across the Pacific as part of the first all-female team to complete this challenge - “Coxless Crew”. She not only broke two world records, but even more impressively to achieve this without any prior exploration experience. Laura is living proof that any ‘normal’ human being can complete never done before challenges. She is gritty to the bone. But Laura also has a big heart, dedicating the row to her friend who sadly passed away after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Laura is an inspiration to everyone who comes across her. Definitely check out the documentary about her row: Losing Sight Of Shore: Everyone Has A Pacific To Cross
